About CLIMB FOR A CAUSE
BridgeClimb is proud to host Climb for a Cause, an annual charity Climb day, taking place this year on Sunday, 5 May 2024, in support of Australian Red Cross. We invite Climb teams to register for this unique experience on the arches of the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge, where every step contributes to raising crucial funds that will make a significant difference in countless lives.
Since 1998, we’ve strived to make climbing for good causes a focus. As a passionate bunch, we’re dedicated to serving local neighbouring communities the best way we can and make strides to support and promote partners who share our people-first and fair-go values.
Since its launch in 2022, Climb for a Cause has seen over 1000 participants raise over $100,000. This year, we invite you to join us in supporting Australian Red Cross and our ongoing mission to enhance the lives of individuals and communities across Australia.

Australian Red Cross is a volunteer-based organisation that exists to reduce human suffering. With a community of 20,000+ members and volunteers, they act locally and connect globally to deliver what’s needed, when it’s needed most.
Australian Red Cross stand at the forefront of emergency relief efforts, providing crucial aid during natural disasters, emergencies, and other crises. They extend their impact beyond immediate crisis response, engaging in community-based programs that address diverse needs. From offering a helping hand to the elderly, or supporting vulnerable communities, they play a pivotal role in enhancing the well-being of individuals and communities across Australia.
The fundamental principles of humanity, impartiality, voluntary service, unity, neutrality, universality and independence guide them in their work. These ensure humanitarian needs are considered, protected and addressed regardless of circumstances, delivering assistance without discrimination.
Together with the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), they are the world’s largest humanitarian network of 16 million volunteers in 191 countries that help those facing disaster, conflict, vulnerability and crisis.
